Clear estimates, no surprise lines on the bill
Nobody can quote fixed prices over the phone. We consider home size, floor, lift, distance and season to estimate the cost. Survey is free. Quote is written. GST extra as per norms. If volume stays same, bill stays same.
Every move starts with a free survey. We look at volume, floors, lift access, packing scope and the date you want. Only after that do we put a number on paper. Anyone quoting a fixed price over the phone without seeing your goods is guessing, and you will pay for that guess later.
Our written estimate breaks the cost into packing, labour, transport and optional insurance. GST is shown as per government norms. If the volume stays the same, the bill stays the same. If you add a wardrobe or change the floor plan, we requote before the crew lifts anything. That is how we keep trust on both sides.
Peak weeks (month-end, festivals, school holidays) book out first. Rates can firm up a little when demand spikes. Book the survey a few days early and you still get the slot you want without paying a rush fee.
The right wrap for the right item
Household goods get multi-layer packing: stretch film, bubble wrap, foam sheets and corrugated rolls. Crockery goes in partitioned cartons. Mattresses get covers so they do not pick up dust on the loading ramp. Wardrobe cartons let clothes travel on hangers where possible, which saves you an hour of ironing on the other side.
Office IT gets anti-static wrap. Cars and bikes are strapped at the wheels on carriers, not tied from the body. Wooden crates are built for anything unusually heavy or fragile - a piano, a marble top, a large aquarium. If you have something odd, say so at survey time and we will plan for it instead of improvising on moving day.
All standard packing material is part of our normal quote. Extra crates, specialised crates or additional layers are quoted as clear add-ons, never buried in the total.
What is covered, what is optional, and who you call
Transit insurance is optional on every job. On long lanes and high-value loads we recommend it. The premium sits as a separate line on the estimate so you can decide with full information. We do not bundle it quietly into the base price and call the whole thing insured.
Warehousing covers the gap when your new home or office is not ready. Short-term and longer holds both work. Goods stay sealed, labelled and logged. You get access details for your visit if you need to pull a file or a suitcase out mid-hold.
Support runs Monday to Saturday during office hours, with an on-call contact for moves in progress. You are not left refreshing a generic tracking page. One number, one supervisor who already knows your job.
Complaints are handled the same day they land. Damage claims start with photos and the inventory list you signed at delivery. We would rather fix a problem quickly than argue about it for a week.
